The Many Ways we Sell:

We appreciate that not everyone in these busy times has the same schedules, so we offer many different way you and your scout can support the pack, so the Pack can support your Scout!

Show and Sells

  1. Scouts set up a table and sell directly to passersby.
  2. Show and Sells make up a big part of our popcorn program. We've obtained permission from local businesses to set up a sales table. Show and Sells have plenty of products on-hand for people to buy. Different Scouts work at the table in shifts. Always have 2-deep adult supervision.
  3. Check the calendar to the right for show and sell times and other important details.

Show and Deliver

  1. The Den/Scout requests popcorn on consignment. They sell what they can and return the rest.
  2. The Den/Scout carries Trail's End Popcorn with them (in a van or car) and is able to fulfill the customer's popcorn order right away.

Order Forms

  1. The Scout with their Akela can go door to door with a Order Form provided by Den Leaders or the Popcorn Kernel.
  2. The Customer writes his/her order on the Take Order Form and the Scout collects the money upfront.
  3. The parents hit up relatives, neighbors, and that one lady from work who you always buy cookies from.
  4. The Scout hands in the Order Form with checks and cash to the Popcorn Kernel at the October and November Pack Meetings.
  5. The Popcorn Kernel orders and delivers the Popcorn to the Scout in 2 weeks (likely the 2nd Den Meeting)
  6. The Scout delivers the popcorn back to the Customers
  7. Everybody happy!

Online Sales

  1. The Scout can set up a page online, to share on the Facebooks and Twitters, and to email to Gramma in Montana. The Customer can go online and purchase popcorn with a Credit Card at http://sell.trails-end.com/
  2. The Product is shipped directly from Trail’s End to the customer and the Scout and Pack will receive credit for the Sale.  Have a chat with ol' Popcorn Kernel, if you want to set that up.
